Connecting with Spirits of Place
Wherever you are, Spirit is there.
The first thing one learns in this Program is how to relate with the spirits of the land. If you have a relationship with the spirits of land, how could you ever consider harming the land? Does ecology affect you personally? This program will show you ways to deepen your ability to connect with the land. And, once you practice developing this connection, then you'll know how to call the spirits of the land to participate in the ceremonies and journeys you do. 
Creative EndeavorsDrum Birthing
In this program you will create a drum. Since the spirit of that drum is already in existence and you will be bringing it into physical existence, you are giving birth to it. The process of this birthing is sacred as all births are, and you will be birthing yourself anew in this experience. The drums will be frame drums and all the materials are included in the tuition. The frames are usually made out of Oak, and the skins are either deer or elk. In the process you will speak with the spirits of the tree and animal from which your drum is being created. |
You will learn how to help the spirits of the deceased who are stuck to move on, thus fulfilling the responsibilities of a Shaman to heal the living and the dead.
We will also work with Channelling, Shapeshifting, Divination, Celtic ceremonies, Jewish shamanism, and Chinese shamanism. Creating a Support Network The participants in this program not only learn how to work together spiritually as a group, but often they become lifelong friends. That's not all, though, as I have taught seven programs prior to this one, and there are times when I hold special workshops or classes or gatherings for anyone who has taken this program, so new participants have access to those who have gone before them. Many of the "elders" also participate in the regular Journey Group. Also, at the end of this program in 2020, I will be leading a 10 day trip to New Mexico. People who've completed any of my 2 Year Programs will have priority. 
Healing TechniquesIllness in traditional Shamanism always starts on the spirit level before it manifests in the physical realm.
The three main healing techniques that you will learn are: Power Animal Retrieval, Soul Retrieval and Extractions. While you could take individual workshops and learn these techniques, in this program we will visit them repeatedly, and learn different techniques to do the same thing from different cultures. |
